This was my first bow kill, which happened to come in my first year bow hunting. Shot it her a bit back, actually through the liver but still did the trick. The next hunt is my favorite.

Cool posts guys! NBK , the locals here in NM tell me the Oryx is as good or better eating then Elk , true or not?
 
Mine was not so tasty but it is because I had a tough time getting it down (using a .338 ???).

Rusty just shot one with a military tag and his was delicious...

Ajnack I shot a doe on my first year bow hunting as well. It's a good goal for a new weapon.
 
Some of my favorite pics are not from hunting trips. They are from fishing trips with my Granddad. I fished with him from Portocetis Mexico, (my first fish) to the Northwest Territories. (his last trip)

Well, I've never hunted any big game like that, but here are a few that are on my " Before I die list". :D :D :D. Next year will be my first time ever putting for out of state hunts. I usually just hunt local.

Hopefully next year i get to hunt one of those on my list. After that, im gonna keep trying something different every year hopefully. Heres another i got in mexicali, mexico a couple years ago on a dove hunt

I will post something up when I get back home, I will need to scan an old photo. But no.... not camera shy, just gun shy!
