Preserving meat after the kill

It's called VEAL!!!!!.....nothing better.....thanks guys

Saw some good shooters but not my weekend to connect....... I have a guided hunt I won in D13 w/hatchet.........so that will be fun
 
Took a 2x2 in New Mexico, the bigger bucks just weren't coming out yet. Note that this forky weighed as much as a mature deer though. The game in new mexico were fat. Brought back the meat in a 110 qt cooler with ice and it did the trick. Dropped off the meat at Bisher's in poway and now waiting to pick it up. Thanks all for the advise and suggestions! Now lets see what D16 brings.
 
Always a challenge in hot weather. We'll get a brief spell of cooler weather this weekend, then back to the eighties next week. :-(
