Quail hunting

can we still use lead pellets for quail. I tried looking it up but I can't figure it out. Can someone help? I'm tagged out but I'm tagging along with a buddy who's got another tag and i seen quite a bit of quail in out deer spot. Don't want to shoot a shotgun though.

Unless your deer spot is in a state or federal wildlife area or refuge......

Mule deer hunter more info ? Did find some written rules? Sorry partner you have to show where you got the info. Would be nice if air rifles don't. Apply. But you just can say something with out the backup info. Help us all here.
