Dude was just another totally predictable angry lefty “comic”. Good riddance. However, if this new trend of cancelling the left is being tacitly forced by the FCC (big merger in play) then we better be careful what we wish for. Don’t want to see conservatives become anti free speech like the libs, leading to the next administration’s FCC chair pressuring networks to dump conservative-leaning programming.

Maybe Kimmel and Colbert can start a new series together. Too bad the title Left Behind has already been taken lol.

I think late light talk shows have been in decline for a while. That’s why Colbert got canned.

I think the fcc/kirk comments thing was just a good excuse for the owners to do it.

Remember how people were pressuring Spotify to drop Joe Rogan but he’s too profitable so they told everyone to pound sand. If Kimmel was worth it, Disney would have fought for him.

As it stands the fcc threat was still just a threat rather than anything substantial.

I think this is just part of big companies doing a course correction back towards the center after realizing that the American public hasn’t shifted as far to the left as they thought.
