Go-figure, as a humble duck hunter and duck call maker, he was able to meet President, Trump. It was sad to hear of his passing. After he turned himself around, he had a wonderful-life well-lived. He made an impact on this world sharing his life-changing testimony and truly becoming a Servant of God. Much respect to Phil and his family.

Bummer...'Faith, Family, Ducks' He had his priorities straight and he wasn't afraid to speak his mind. Got him in hot water plenty of times. Great for recruitment of new hunters in to the sport. A truly Godly man in a godless society. He did good work and even with fame, lived quite humbly. I just finished his son, Willie's book "Gospeler" just a few weeks ago. The network tried to have them exclude prayer in the show and Phil said, "I'm out!" so they kept it in. I really think that was part of what made the show so successful.
