When is the first/ primary rut taking place in the 16. How far do you guys think a 16 buck travels to check doe's?

We have one of the longest rut periods here in the "16"...Typically, October thru December...Peaking in early/middle November...............

Their home range is normally around 1 mile...During the rut they can/will travel several miles to find receptive does............

Thanks TJ,

Great seeing you Sunday...Washed the decoys, did a little painting, cleared the bags of cockleburs, and added a few weights...One of the young guys attending the NWTF meeting last night is going to have a nice starter spread for this up coming waterfowl season............

Thanks again for the blocks............................
