Got an opportunity to go to the siuslaw river in Oregon to do some fishing with our guide "Garry Wheeler"out of Eugene. We started out in front of the cabin we were staying at at a spot called cape horn. Simply one of the most beautiful spots....beer in the waders and bobbers down. Wife got to do some shooting too behind the cabin. Saturday we went to the mouth of the river with Garry and drift fished. I saw tons of ducks and geese, also saw an elk on the ridge line. Amazing views.
Caught some natives that were out of season and caught a seagull....catch and release on thoughs.. got a few keepers all in all a great trip. Garry was a great guide and we had a lot of fun. Next time I'm gonna go goose hunting it was like a storm of them in the sky. Amazing to see. Got me all pumped to hit up to hit the sweat line when I get back.
