Dad and I went out on wed night to San Diego bay and I ended up strokin a nice sandy. Went 3.8 on the hand held scale. Hit like a freight train and didn't stop till it was in the boat.

Excellent Sandy you caught. Even the little, tiny ones fight light they are big.

I caught my first Calico Bass yesterday while fishing from my kayak. Also caught a few sand bass, but most where just under legal length, and nothing as big as the one in your photo.
