Don't feel bad it's a different story here in Southern California. Our deer don't migrate. So there is no tell where your gonna find one.

Dead heads and sheds are the trophy of a good hike off the beaten path, time spent in the field scouting and hunting. Not surprising at all to see which of us are posting the big collections. Very inspirational, and I tip my hat to you all.
The four point below is from Wyoming and the dead head is D16, both this year. The doe is a fresh lion kill Ghost and I discovered on a scouting foray into thick cover in August. Creepy. We didn't stick around to take her skull.

Very true anyone can meet the next bruiser. I missed the biggest deer of my life in an area that my buddy found by himself with the help of his uncle. It was his first season hunting on public and he found a monster if that isn't proof anyone can then what is?
