Sad thing about D16 is if you don't take the shot the guy on the next ridge will. I don't know if that is the right mindset to have but with 3000 tags and limited deer anything legal is not safe.
I'd pass... wait, where was this deer at again? Just wanted to see him in the wild so I can help you decide.

Ive had cameras out for a while and this is the best one I have seen. I would like one a little bigger but I haven't found any yet so if I see him I might take him. He is right on the edge for me. This is also the only pic I have of him so its kind of hard to tell.
Remember, the forky gene is strong/dominate in SoCal.....He may never get any better than that.....I'm thinking that buck is probably at least 4.

You won't get meat on the table in SOCAL if you pass that...no hesitation here on anything legal! Boom and I'm lugging meat.
