been browsing around looking at tree stands so many types and varities, what kind of tree stands do you prefer and why?

I've been using Ameristep Hang-On Treestand, it's on Walmart.com for $35 bucks, crazy cheap, I have 4 of them now and work in tight spots with the smallest deck and seat you have ever seen but for the price it's unbeatable. Muddy makes a really good one called the outfitter I think for $115. I really like the adjustable deck leveling stands for our oak trees since there never straight.

me too I purchased a sportsman guide combo
price is right, its light to lug around.

con it small and cramp. and you get sore.

I would invest a better one just lock it up tight.
