So Close Tonight...Too Close last night....10-6-15

Had this little forkie at 26.5 & 35 yds.......Tough angle from the small pop-up......Still early......Also just before shoot time a really nice 3x2 waltzed in......Too dark for a pic, but do have a couple of trail cam pix of other bucks......Man, it was great being back in the woods!

Lee,

They look OK considering there's absolutely no acorns on this property (many fewer deer tho).....Grass, pears, and apples will have to sustain them till we get some kind of mast production.....Turkeys are way down on the property too.

Still have spotted fawns......

Thanks Steve. I found a pretty good spot and kicked up two does on Sunday. It was late morning so I did not expect to see them. Gave chase and on my way out of the brush I saw the shed. Tons of sign in the area as well. Can't wait for the rut my friend.
