Here some blood for you guys. Got out with Neil. Dumped two last night and one this morning. Only have pictures of mines tusks, no time for grip and grins jumped out of the side by sides shot mine threw him on the rack and then got back to work getting @BBH his first boar. Great time 3 boars down we were done by 6:30 this morning. 2 of the 3 were smoker boars. The Hammer Hunters worked great. That tried and true 168TTSX out of my kids 308 was a bam flop can’t beat those things. Did my best to document it for all you guys couped up dreaming about blood.

What a relief to see someone out killing something!

Hammers did good. Mine was a rodeo jumping out of the Rhino him moving through tall grass. First one went through his rear ham which was a total bummer. I’m not proud of it but that’s hunting. I swear I was on front shoulder it just happened fast basically whole scope was pig and I had to be on the rear quarter. That bullet alone almost bled him out. Put another one in the boiler room and he was done. That’s hunting though, things are going to happen. He was dead within seconds of the first shot.

I wired 6oz weights to the large skulls. Without weight they float in the boiling pot.

Butchered, ground sausage, and vacuum packed on Sunday. Nice knowing the freezer is topped off.

Got mine with 214g Hammer Hunter, 3100 fps, via 30 Nosler. Passed through the hog and raised a dust cloud.
