Some good waterfowling

Had a good weekend hunting waterfowl. Good times with friends and my dog Diesel. Also time spent with our 90 year old coot Milt. He is just an amazing guy with the best of stories. A blessing to still have him in the blind. Good times!

The honker hunting was about as good as it gets and the big ducks were cooperating as well. Can't wait till next week..

Timing is a big part of our success Drew. We have been freelancing this area for decades and have learned a thing or two about the birds, migration and the gear. A little luck doesn't hurt either. Planning to go out for another 4 day hunt next week. We saw a lot of new birds come in on Sunday night so it could be good for another week or so.
