Stuffed Elk burgers

Tonight’s dinner. Stuffed Elk burgers cooked on the Treager. Stuffed with hatch green chilies, jalapeño, onions, bacon.
Topped with shredded cheese, avocado, sweet baby rays BBQ sauce. On a potato bun. Washed down with a Coronado Stingray IPA. Da bomb.

OMG that is the fattest delicious looking elk burger. LP you lucky fellow.
The Closes I have gotten to that is a bison burger in lone pine ca, and a steer burger in a small town in Arizona.

Once upon a time a restaurant in lone pine served elk steak. Since then it has changed hands. Dam it. I was bummed.
