last time I killed a bobcat was around 96-97. I really enjoy just watching them do their thing.
For some reason I bought a bobcat tag this year and had a chance to fill it this morning. The bucks beat me this year since this will be the last hunt for the D16 tag but the cat lost. 15 pound female.

Not much of a story. I was sitting in a high spot glassing, had just watched 3 does cross an open area. A couple minutes later this cat steps out. I watched her for a couple minutes and remembered that I had a tag in my pocket. Ranged her at 197 yards and sent a 145 grain Barnes her way. Next thing you know I’m filling out my tag and taking pictures.

Went predator hunting for 2 days and couldn't call any. Even settled for jacks and only saw around 5 for the 2 days. Now I'm even more fired up to find these guys!

It has to be salted and dried.
I’m not going to have time to get mine dried out before he sends them out so I’ll have to wait for the next load to go out.
