Sure would be nice to be able to send one thru the throat of one of these magnificent large mammals one day...maybe in one of the boys or sweetpeas lifetime....they are pretty regular around the lakes out here..
Arizona ? Correct me but he looks like he would go 140"150". Do you know Matt Dominy from the AZ sheep society ? He is a wealth of info. Hunted with him as a tag-along for a friend in 2010 and he put my buddy on a B&C ram that he took. Here's a photo-
What Matt taught me was to look at mass not curl because as you can see he rubbed himself down. Don't judge them when they are facing away because they all look big at that angle and look at space between the horns when they face you. The less space the better, if it has no space between the horns when they are facing you shoot it as it is world class. We glassed over fifty rams in three days and when Matt saw this one it took him less that five seconds to say you need to shoot. P.s. Matt finally drew his tag last year after living in AZ all his life and shot one in the same size range. He owns and opperate's Kofa outfitters and I would highly recommend him if you draw in Az. This is a once in a lifetime tag and unless you are retired and know sheep I highly suggest you hire him. He knows his stuff...
