in a sure sign of the apocalypse one of the guys i hunt with at plaster city got this.
yes a freaking hooded lawn dart. in 40 years of hunting i have never shot one. and i do not think i have ever even seen one.
global warming, el nino, Newsome as gov. now this

Quite the strap, Billy Boy.....The hoody is a true sign of a big winter.....It's never failed me, when they show up in SoCal.

ps....The boys had one slide in at "The Shaw" Saturday too.

Watched over a hundred honkers fly over my ranch next to Henshaw yesterday morning headed towards the southwest. Have not seen that in awhile. Saw honkers on the ground on Friday in a pond west of Ramona.
 
You guys might get the birds this week and into the weekend. A little east, but we are going to hit a solid freeze this week in CO. We might thaw a little next week in some areas, but I imagine most of the ducks will start to get out of here.
