Well I have been waiting for someone to come out and tell the truth about what is REALLY going on....Leave it to these two guys to do it..
Seriously I have been rolling my eye balls around in my head I am dizzy with all the horse bleep I have been reading.
This really hit home with me and I wish everybody in America could see this.

I think I can research and find a video of a police officer killing someone of every race. Bad apples in every batch. Bad apples everywhere. But hey I scored the coveted D16 tag and heading out to put some cams next weekend. More hunting less politics

Should be able to discuss what comes to mind.

Guys and Gals - The last thing I want to see on my favorite outdoor site is politics. However, the left has politicized everything. Its a slow creep and certain things I think are very thought provoking. I found this video to be very informative and insightful. There are huge cracks in the Democratic Socialist foundation. Its a provocative video coming from two guys who love this country very much and see it for what it is. Its a video that guys and gals my age don't see very often. These are millennial black men who walked away from the plantation. And they are funny as hell! Its something you can share with the Zoomers and Millennial's that only see and hear one side of the story. I hope that you can share this. It makes a huge difference. We don't think like today generations. We can't say to them"go read this or that' they roll their eyes. But if you give them a youtube vid! They are all in! God Bless

I agree with everything you said except the slow creep part. The past couple months have been full strength ahead by the DNC. Ifeel they are getting desperate to get Trump out of office by any means possible.

Surfcity ,

I agree with you , I personally tune into this site for the fantastic hunting , fishing and outdoor stories and can always counto on some humor ( Hatchet) , unfortunatley most threads seem to get a bit highjacked by political talk and that is understandable based on the fact that our outdoors sports are constantly under politicle fire.

That being said what I've seen on other sites is a forum set up just for political talk and conversation , all threads dealing with politics are moved to that forum. It tends to keep the other forums on point and free from politics.

Hi, Jason here. I just joined the site at the invitation of a friend. I'm African American, if that matter, and I have to say I disagree with everything written in the thread. I also think that everyone everywhere should be entitled to free speech no matter what they are saying. I look forward to speaking to all of you with civility and mutual respect.

Yeah I've always hated that the default narrative is because racism. You got to get more information then just the race of the people involved before you suggest that, sometimes it is but often not. As far as things being systemically racist I think that is less about people and more about a policy that unfairly falls upon people. I would say the minimum sentencing disparities between coke and crack were a racist.

Why do you disagree?

@surfcity, thanks for asking. This topic strikes me as one that will not be resolved in this forum. I'm also not a person who wants to spend time debating societal ills with people who have not yet become friends. My dad would call that "pissing into the wind." Instead, I want to figure out where to take my boys rabbit hunting in July, learn from successful turkey hunters, and one day take my boys deer hunting (I'm a new hunter). I saw the post, and thought, "nope, not gonna pretend it isn't out there." If we ever meet IRL I would be happy to have a beer and discuss the topic. Again, thank you for the question.

Its the perfect spot for debate "open discussion" you are a black American, you have a point of view. I know what I see and hear. Did you watch the video? Why do you disagree? If you didn't want to debate it why did you respond? You don't believe in what the Hodge Twins said? I am curious?

What area you at?

@SteveHazard I live in Los Angeles. The areas I've been looking into are Riverside and and Kern County, but SD works just as well. I have two boys 12 & 14 who are fired up to learn to hunt. We just bought 12ga semis for rabbits and turkeys, and maybe ducks when the season comes.
