Opening morning starts and about 6:50 my buddy says deer. With the shade it took us a couple minutes to figure out if it was a buck or doe. Sure enough buck , a nice buck. He starts about 450 yds out. After the shakes and what to do , we decide to try and get around for closer shot.. we get him to about 280 yds he starts going away and its now or nothing . His First shot high , take your time second shot low but the way he jumped we thought maybe he got him no third shot high and that was it.
Start out same place on Sunday , glassing all over and finally at 8 :15 there he is out in the open up hill moving away. 241 yds uphill first shot all I hear is boom , then smack , solid hit but back. Takes us forever it seemed to get to him. Being a fat guy up hill really sucks.we get to him and he sticks his head up 1 more shot and lights out.20191027_085916(0).jpg20191027_102101.jpg
