I tested positive shortly after the wife did despite that we are vaccinated.

It really sucks..the most anoying symptom is the fever and the headaches.
Over the las 3 days the fever goes up and down from 98 to 103.
Im really staying hydrated because i dont want it to get on my lungs.

Is there anything i can take to feel better?
Ive heard sugar is no good. I tried the old chicken soup trick last night and i almost threw up. Ive been eating some fruit here and there but thats about it.

Had the the delta Rona for 27 days last summer..after being vaxed for over 4 months..vaccines don't work..it's like a placebo..mind over matter dude..lay low..stay hydrated..keep the fever down.. knuckle head #2 had the omnicron Rona last month..little soar throat and cough..gone in 5 days..lucky bstrd...keep us posted on your recovery....hang in there.

Had rona last September..not vaccinated and still haven't gotten any shots. Living with my wifes grandfather and he got the rona a couple weeks ago after being vaccinated with boosters and all. We were all in close contact with him while he was sick and my wife, my daughter's and myself didn't get sick. Guess those natural immunities did the trick..thankfully he got over it quickly and is doing well now.

Maybe try some liquid IV packets to keep hydrated..

Had it back in january, mild Flu like symptoms for 4 days and then I got stomach cramps and passed out. Ended up at emergency but I left a few hours later. 2 days later I was still in bad shape and was able to get Monoclonal Antibodies (through connections) and I started improving immediately. Using Inhalers and lots of rest helps but I am in my 60s.

I had it almost 2 years ago...Lost my smell & taste, coughed uncontrollably, and had a fever the lst 3 days...My doctor hunting partner said NOT to take Tylenol to break temps...He said it's natures way of ridding you of the virus...After the 3rd day of fever, it was gone, and I was almost back to normal.

Since then, I have been around a ton of folks that have gotten it and I haven't...Everyone of those have been vaccinated...The jab was BS!

Today im felling much better...still 99 in fever and im really hoping it stays like that or goes down.
I passed out once when i got a really high fever due to a intestinal infection i had, i tried to ride it..i woke up on the floor....high fever like that can kill you, i really should have gone to the hospital that time.
The Tylenol comment makes a lot of sense. That is,always being my understanding of fever (your body natural reaction to fight a virus or infection) i rarely take anything myself.
One thing i would recomend for ammune system boost is :
A blend of mushrooms in capsules (sprouts carries them) pricey ..like $45 for 40 capsules depending on the brand.
And lastly EmergenC with "bioflavenol"..many Emergency products dont have it, so read the label.
For me, today would be the day to take those because i dont feel like throwing up.
The good news is that so far i lost 8lbs..lol.

Besides what others have said, make sure you eat, does not matter what it is as long as it has calories. Your body needs to fuel for fighting so I wouldn't skimp on calories. I dont count tea and chicken broth as fuel or whatever they tell you to "make you feel good." Give me some elk, bacon and chili.

Best remedy is Vitamin C !
And lots of it !!
Since 2010 I’ve been taking 6k milligrams a day of powdered Vitamin C; I do have friends and relatives that have gone to 8k Meg’s and higher with no adverse effects. I put 1 heaping teaspoon in water. I started doing this after listening to two doctors who had studied why large mammals, not humans, have almost no cancer compared to humans. They determined that these larger mammals carry approximately 6-8k mg’s in their system at all times. For decades Dr’s have stated that it is useless to take more than 1500 Mg’s a day because your body cannot process more and the rest is removed from your body naturally. But, these Dr’s found that by keeping levels so high that most viruses and diseases cannot survive the high volumes of C in the body.
Since starting this regimen I have never had the flu, or Covid, I am not vaccinated, when I have gotten a cold it is very minor and gone almost immediately.
Just some suggestions if you think this might be something you are interested in.
Make sure that the powdered Vitamin C is a pure form with no additional additives. If you go to your local health food store they can help. Only buy C that has been verified by a 3rd party lab.
Lastly, when initially starting be prepared for some of the worst farts you have ever smelled in your life. Lol ! I say this laughingly but I’m serious you will be shocked; almost throw up level smells. Also for me within 45 minutes to one hour you must go poop. Do not wait, had a few friends who thought they could wait a little bit and ended up shitting themselves driving to work and at work. This is a natural part of the process; with the high levels of C your body is removing huge amounts of toxins in the form of waste. These two side effects usually last about two weeks before subsiding.
It is a little difficult to drink, due to the high tartness or sourness, but I force myself to drink 8 ounces of water with the C in two to 3 gulps.
Remember 45 minutes to an hour and be ready ! Look forward to hearing from those of you how it goes !!! Lol !!!

Glad you’re doing better. We stocked up on Ivermectin, hydroxychloriquil, and some other stuff just in case we get it. It’s what Trump, Rogan, Aaron Rogers and others used with apparent success. Not sure how readily available that stuff is now. Good luck.

I had two days of it earlier this month.

I just used NyQuil and slept a lot. Acetaminophen is a fever reducer. Always good to stay hydrated with any bug.

I actually thought it was a bad cold until my wife tested positive a day later with similar symptoms.

Pretty mild for both of us. I’ve had other respiratory infections that were far worse.

The fever, the body aches, and the headaches are gone today. Still nasal congestion and fatigue.

The one symptom I was getting all confused about was this weird nausea that shows up suddenly usually when I am laying down, sometimes in the middle of the night it wakes me up 4+ times and I sort of need to walk it off but...it lasts 10 minutes and then goes away. I figured it out, is a type of vertigo that comes and goes and makes me nauseous. Either way robs me from a good night of sleep.

Now that I know the nausea is not related to a digestive issue I am giving food a go. This morning I made a banana smoothie with almond milk and had some cheerios with it. It went down very nicely. However, now I can't stop coughing. I broke my number 1 rule when trying to keep a cough under control " NO Dairy or sugar"! The Almond milk I buy doesn't have dairy or added sugar but the viscosity is very similar and it got me. It creates flem in the back of your throat and it makes it impossible not to cough. So, more and more water is the only way to melt that down.

I don't think this is the Covid 19 but rather one of the easier-to-pick-up Omnicromb Variant. The more I read about it the more it makes sense.

Out of our four family households in Sandy Eggo, not one person had it up until about 2 1/2 months ago. Now 11 of 16 of us have had it. Both my 80 y/o inlaws brought it back from Vegas and only had mild symptoms. One SIL and her daughter also brought it from Vegas (separate trip) and both had mild symptoms. Other SIL is an elementary school teacher and she caught it and then her two boys subsequently caught it. SIL felt the worst of everyone but nothing more than a real flu bought. Then my daughter graduated on 6/1, started feeling crappy that night and tested + the next morning. Wife tested positive exactly one week later. Then, after thinking I must be immune, came back from a work trip the Sac on the 24th, felt a scratchy throat that Sunday the 26th and tested + on the 27th. I felt like crap the next day with fever and zero energy, but then it was just a head cold alternating with a head cold until that Friday. We were all lucky and avoided the crazy headaches and body aches! Maybe its the daily EmergenC or the fact that we are somewhat healthy and active. Maybe because we're all vax'd? Who knows...

Edit: I did lose my smell and taste for a half of a day. I had my coffee and breakfast in the morning with no issues. That night we had some pizza and when I took it out of the oven I was like WTF, I can't smell anything. Took a bite and couldn't taste either. I was NOT looking forward to that! Next morning was back to normal. :)
