"Larry Paulsen, a prolific writer whose young adult novels such as “Hatchet” inspired generations of would-be adventurers with tales of survival, exploration and nature, died at his home in Tularosa, New Mexico. He was 82. His son, Jim, said the cause was cardiac arrest."

Who else has read his books besides our hatchet?

I need to pull it out again or maybe there's an audiobook?

sounds like he had a long life. I will never eat wild berries because of that book. Also the vivid description of the pilots body in the plane under water is burnt in my head forever. Probably not allowed in school but it was one of the few books I enjoyed in school.
