Deer are losing their summer coats and moving to the more gray look of fall/winter....Mostly hard horned bucks, but a few still in velvet...Fall will be in the air soon.................

ps...Can't believe there's any deer left on the "Best 40"...Lions every night...All but one fawn is gone.....................

That 3rd pic looks like a cactus buck. He's probably a cryptorchid. If I remember correctly, he should keep his velvet all year. Good time for him to become a dinner deer.

He is...He's new to the property, but I've had a few others...This actually could be the same buck, but I don't think that spike side would grow that much.

He ain't long for this world, if the lions don't get him........... ;)
