They're like hot bubbling caldrons that are many times under water......Very dangerous!

These were in Y16A-1 (still are)......Can you imagine stepping into one of these at dark thirty...... :-\

exactly like the pictures above but steaming all the time, when the wind blows in your direction smells like sulfur.

One of the biggest mud/steam pots in the area is out by Mullet Island. It's a huge bubbling mud area, steam coming off is usually a purple color. Be super careful in the area, heard lots of stories of people getting burned by the hot mud. It's no joke!

steve , them pheasant pics above the gallo is a bit more on the golden side. Is that a pen raised rooster?

They are in only one place in the valley that I know of......And they're pretty darn wild......I'm sure they're old planted birds from the duck club...... ;)
