here is my old man sometime close to 1974 or so. yes he had a gsp, it was soon after this i realized my dad was not perfect. i am still working through it
my dads first buck 4 years ago on opening day. It was kinda funny my dad told me to wait for him to yell for me when he found the deer so he goes up the hill about 100 yards and I look over and not 10 feet from me the deer is dead as door nail. That was the day I realized I was going to hunt til the day I die
ok the fish was back around 1989 i think, I had long hair YIKES. was up in the Aquarius Plateau area of utah. We were on a Doe antelope Hunt and found a tiny lake loaded with trout. The Elk was my first elk with a Bow back in 1998 by wolf creek Montana
Henshaw with cousin Ronnie, opener 1980 (1st time the lake had allowed duck hunting in 20 years).......Crowley lake teal shoot 1982 (COLD!).......Oceanside honkers 1978 (this spot is now a Wal-Mart parking lot)
I was going thru the hunting and fishing scrapbook today and found this gem of me when I was 3 or 4. I remember my dad always used to like to see if I was bigger or the fish was bigger. then on day he said he was probably never going to spear a fish bigger than me then the next day he speared a wsb that was 65 lbs
Trip to Northwest territories 1992.
The bear kept coming into camp and stealing anything he could get a hold of while we were out fishing.. He even bit holes in the inflatable boats while we were sleeping at night. (If you can call it night, never got very dark.) We had a shotgun that the shells were loaded with rubber balls. This bear took one on his nose from my uncle (Beartracks) @ 30 yards. Didn't see him again the rest of the trip.
Almost forgot to post up
pig bow kill from around 1992 ish. i cant remember but i think pig tags had just started. shot on the Dubost ranch now a winery near paso robles
