Put a dry rub on a small flat brisket last night and placed it into the smoker today. Let it go for about 4 hrs with a little smoke (mesquite). Ehhh, it was so so...these small briskets don't really have enough fat on them. Should have bought the tri-tip. The potatoes and steamed green beans were bomb!
