I think many people are relieved but... This not the time to rest on the laurels of the election. Vance is probably not the next best choice (we'll see what he does or does not do soon and that will tell) The party needs to think very hard about the next race now. There is no doubt in my mind that Trump will piss off a bunch of Americans with the next administration and the powers that be within the party need to be prepared to present a candidate that can win or the pendulum will swing the other way the next time around. Don't fool yourselves this was close and the dems learned something that will use in the future. Just sayin...
