Leaving at 6 AM for ten days in Wisconsin. Hunting white tail, pheasant, and ruffed grouse. Looks like the weather is going to be agreeable this year, 30s and 40s with little chance of rain. We will be in NW Wis. in Sawyer Co. a little place called, appropriately, Winter, Wis. Years past we've had everything from -5 deg. with pure white outs, to rain, crazy wind storms, then other years we're standing on the bank of the Chippewa river in shirt sleeves fishing for Crappie and Walleye. Always the best trip of the year.
