I've mentioned Hank Shaw on here a few times; one of my favorite hunting/fishing food writers. He has a kickstarter out for a new venison cook book. He's including tips on handling/processing and recipes from around the world. I own his first two books and they are great, I'm pre-ordering this one from the KS campaign. Check it out if you're looking for new and interesting ways to cook up deer.

Just made my pledge

Ive had the opportunity to meet Hank. One of his close friends and hunting partners use to work for me.

Its nice having someone that hunts/fishes/gathers/and cooks the same things we are harvesting.

I used one of his squirrel recipes last year. It was great.
