Dark last night no moon, and very cool, down to 39 degrees. Windy all night. This morning no wind very cool. Bright and sunny. Critters out this morning. Lots of precipitation this morning. Hope it stays cool for Saturday.

Yes looked at the weather, up to eighties, during the week hope they wrong and stays cool. Wind is starting up again. Let's stay positive. Hope for the best for D16 opener.

Fire has broken out about 5-10 miles from our place. Church Rd & 94 . Bombers and helicopter on it. Let's pray they get it out quick.

For sure. This morning I got to the woods right at 7am, it was chilly 40 degrees. At 8am someone flipped the switch.. winds kicked up and the oven started.
Yeppers makes it tough to dress for.

well the freak winds are still added, it's nut's , my expensive green house got shredded by the high winds. uggg. I will have to build an other one made from 4 x 4. bolted together, with bullet proof glass. sh___. woke up at 3 AM this morning dehydrated from the wind yesterday. I tell this wind will dehydrate you faster than S____. may have to look at to hunt at lower elevation this Saturday. SUCKS
I saw a lot of Cal Fire trucks out today. They are keeping a lookout for any fires that might start up. Also CNF staff are at trail heads keeping everyone off trails because of the heat (and potential for fire). Had a good chat with two CNF rangers near a hunting spot (they let me hike in to get the SD card from my game camera).
Glad to know they are all on top of things this week. It makes me feel safer. Things should cool down some starting Weds.
