Weekend home quarantine project

Last weekend I strengthened my bumper so it attacked directly from the winch plate to the frame - this weekend I decided a roof rack is in order! All metal was scrap I’ve had lying around - except the expanded metal, that’s my $20 OfferUp find

No redneck 4Runner is complete without homemade bumpers and homemade roof rack!

Rear bumper has to wait until escondido metal supply reopens soon can go browse the scrap metal!

Man.....while Owen here was rocking some serious man skills this weekend I was busy Fighting a backyard WAR with some Killer Bee's From Mexico! Bastards got into my Owl Box...then attacked me! Some guys have way different lives. That is some hot stuff when you can create stuff like that and then hang it on your rig! I am very very impressed when your everyday JoeSixpack does stuff like this. Really nice work Owen. I have all kind of ideas on stuff I would like fabricated but would even know where to start. Super impressive.

I have a friend that lives near me who is a fabricator. His business is steel gates, but he’ll make anything you can think of. He made a badass bumper for his F-350 that I will have him duplicate for my truck. It’s even winch ready
