Went for a drive today

So after a week of Fire in and around Oak Glen, they opened Oak Glen up today. I Took the family for a drive. The deer population seems to like the burnt areas. We see about 15 Deer I was only able to take pictures of a few. Also along the side of the road we did find some berry bushes. They were tasty on the ride home.
It's weird after being cooped up in the house for 6 months how good it feels just to get outside and drive around .

Fire is good for wildlife, as long as it hasn't burnt too hot....If that's public land, it will be alive with game in a couple of years.

deer love ash to roll in as all wildlife to remove parasites in general. then there is the plus of new growth that they like to eat. more food = more and fatter deer.
