There were 6 other hunters on this hunt we filled 5 tags first night plus 1 guy wounded one.
Next morning the last tag was filled. After that everyone went out looking for the one that got away with no luck.

Nice bullet placement on the Nilgai, What caliber/bullet did you use ? How far and what angle ? Are they as tough as I have heard and read about ?

30 Nosler with a 168 gr McGuire Copper Rose at about 3220. 100 yards shot, dead broad side. Went through both shoulders. Made a mess of the heart and ruined about 4” of lung. It ran about 80 or so yards. No blood trail. Tough to put down. Guide says they nearly always run.
