My favorite is 22-250 with 50 gr ballistic tip pushed out the barrel @ 3900 FPS. Murderous on coyotes.

22-250! Wish I still had one. Got a 222 Rem now. It's almost as good. 40-grain Hornady v-Max at 3600 f/s.

I like the Rem .223. It is accurate, fairly cheap to shoot and shoots flat. Also there is a ton of ammo makers that offer great varmint bullets if you get into a pinch. The cartridge reloads easy, it isn't a powder hog, barrel life is very good and it stings everything from squirrels to dogs!

Ruger 22-250 with Winchester 55gr silver balistic tip..gets out there in a hurry..and unlike Cal we can use it for deer..knocks their dick in the dirt..
