What's your favorite varmint hunting caliber

My favorite varmint hunting caliber is the one that is in my hand when I see a coyote! ;D ;D ;D

I like the Rem .223. It is accurate, fairly cheap to shoot and shoots flat. Also there is a ton of ammo makers that offer great varmint bullets if you get into a pinch. The cartridge reloads easy, it isn't a powder hog, barrel life is very good and it stings everything from squirrels to dogs!
