Wife's buck down!

Well fun weekend all around! Started it off Saturday at San J in a #1 res with Trig (ilovesprig), Tanner, and my father in law. Great shoot and a lot of fun with the guys. Then this morning my wife and I set out with hopes of filling her D16 tag. We had a late start this morning and didn't get to the spot until 11:30. Right of the bat, we spotted her buck near where I intended to set up and glass for the evening. After a short hike we watched the buck come out from some oaks chasing 2 does. He stopped for a split second and my wife managed to get her Ruger American .243 on him. 150 yds... double lung and heart. What an awesome weekend. Now it's almost time for me to spend some time in search of my A22 giant.
