With the full moon and glassy conditions Jacob, Phil, and I didn't expect much.....Well, it wasn't red hot, but we had a number of birds come in to the call and decoyed beautifully.....Really fun morning.....This time of year historically isn't about the big numbers, but hunting with good friends, talking about the season, and camaraderie of the night before around the campfire......Today and last night was one of those times.

I echo the "friends hanging out" I have not spent 8 hours with my best friend all season. Today was great even though I was the only one to shoot (once) and miss. Son and Cal had fun shooting the shit in the other blind.
