My son got an invite to join a friend that drew a pretty good number for Wister on Saturday.
Hearing all the ducks walking out to the blind at dark-thirty. I could tell it was going to be special day.

It seemed like forever for legal shooting time. It was fast and furious for at least 15 minutes before they could shoot. Fortunately, the birds kept coming for awhile . It slowed down a bit... but, stayed pretty consistent all morning.
It was a pleasant surprise when the kids decided to skip the youth raffle and keep hunting. Actually...that made my day!!!
One of my top hunts for sure.

Thanks for the invite Brian. Jack got his 1st limit & Torey dropped 3 on her second duck hunt.

You can eat and play games or shoot ducks.
I shot my limit all three years! All those people volunteer their time for the event, we might as well show a little appreciation by participating in the festivities. Also, the afternoon hunt was always fun. I enjoy spending the whole day out there, especially because its the last hunt of the season.
