Hydro turf is just closed cell EVA foam with some traction patterns hot rolled in. The interlocking mats sold for kids and yoga mats are the same thing. Although, I'd hate to see yoga mats coating that duck boat after everything else you've put into it. You could probably find a dealer willing to sell sheets of the stuff, but may not have the pattern or colors you want.

Or tow the boat to the HT factory in Anaheim and see if they can cut you a deal.

Back when I was really into standup watercraft in my teens I had a friend over there. Everything we bought was 50% off. So I know they will deal.

I am sure they have done airboats before, but possibly never an air boat in So Cal. They might want to snap some pics for their site.

They also have "seconds" that they sell for a lower price by the sheet as well.

so the seats are Buttraxx fat man seats. They are pretty much the go to company for airboat seats. not exactly what we are getting but kinda close

final stages of hull construction, uhmw poly is being screwed into the bottom. Its this super hard plastic that is slippery and tough as nails over rocks and trees and going down the road.
1/4 is standard, we are going with 3/8" just in case we decide to go over boulders

he hull builder Circle H Airboats has finished the hull and now i just need to get it out to so ca. This thing has some serious deck space.

update.....
so the hull got here! last weekend we tore it down and started the build out process.

first up take the cage and stand off for powder coating......more to come shortly

ok... so got the cage and hull painted and time to put it all back together.

test fit of the prop to get the stand location correct and its getting closer :)
