I wanted to drive by the roadkill but my son wanted it. After boiling, bleaching, removing teeth etc., It sat it a bucket of the darkest coffee I could make, overnight. Turned something gross into pretty cool. 223 round for size comparison.
My son and I were trying to call in some predators. The boy got a little antsy with all the squirrels running around so I let him take a shot. 150 yards with a .223. He wanted a euro of his first. Fun times!

My son was quite fortunate this year and drew a youth cow elk tag in Arizona. At 10 years old, this was his first opportunity to hunt big game. I’ve never hunted elk before so it was a lot to plan for.
We were able to scout the area in August and familiarized ourselves with the unit. We saw a...

One set of Caddis fins (worn over shoes or wading boots).
One set of Creek Company fins (worn without shoes).
For a twenty dollar bill, you can have both. Can meet in the East County (San Diego).
PM if interested.

Jerry (Millbro) and I went on a backpack bowhunt in a Northern California Wilderness with both deer and bear tags. No tags were filled but we had an absolute blast! One of the most physically demanding hunts I've ever been on. After five days of climbing up and down some incredibly rugged and...
