IV Euros 7/16

Saw everybody else gettin' at the Eurasians so I decided to swing down to the IV for a day trip.

First time in the IV for 2017 so needless to say I was a bit lost, but managed to locate 'em. More importantly my shooting was terrible, should of bagged more but hey that's on me. The birds gotta win some days too right?

Managed 3 Eurasians with a single Pigeon kicker. Never had Pigeon (squab???) before so feel free to input a favorite recipe!

Don't think I'll be busting my ass to do another single day trip from the OC though, driving 6+ hours in a single day is rough (but worth it)!

Feelin your pain on the OC to IV Trek. I usually try to make it an overnighter to make it worth while. Glad you found a few birds, you earned them. I cook the pigeons the same as dove.

Nice going, Nate.....This is how you start learning the IV.....Things can change rapidly, but general areas or spots can be pretty consistent.
