Hey all, does anyone have any suggestions on what would be a good starter gun for my 9yo boy? I started off with a winchester1300 youth in 20ga when I was 12 , but the stock and LOP is a little to big for him yet.

@HunterMcHunter I live in north OC try any of the OC park lakes. Check OCparks.com for stocking schedules for whichever lake is closest to you. All the lakes that are maintained by the county are very clean for a city park. I usually only take within the first week of stocking. CDFW also stocks...

Hunted Wister for my first ever waterfowl Hunt. I was able to squeeze out a limit by 10:00.My bag consisted of 5 blue wing, a green wing, and a pintail. Our blind was fairly consistent, with 2 more limits from our group of 4.

58 at Wister opener. This will be my first waterfowl hunt ever. Anyone have some tips they would like to share?
