Went out on Thursday. Birds were flying, but Dash and myself were not in sync. Little rusty. Still came out with 2.

I use the flash & like it. I just use the Folger's coffee bag's & Mountains house Dinner's every year in D-6. The mountain house takes up more room the the Jet boil. I'm still running on my first tank for 3 years now. It doesn't use a lot of fuel.

Was our in D-14 today. They were moving late in the morning. Tried to put the stalk on a giant, but he was way smarter then myself. Truly impressive on how they move through the thick brush with ease. Also saw 5 doe.

I didn't purposely have him run those 2 buck's. He found them on his own and when they took off so did he. I wasn't expecting any deer to be in this particular area in the middle of summer.

I did take him Deer hunting last year when he was just 5 month old. But that was just to have him out. Since most of what we have done, since I got him last year is bird training. He works relatively close. So I'll be working with him to start hunting further out from me. I'll end up using him...

I hunt D6 about every year. It holds a ton of bear on Public land. But by no means is it easy. What area have you looked at?
