I still pull out the food processor when Im lazy, pastry cutter when I want to take my time and be left alone for a few extra minutes, and do it by hand only when Im feeling super fancy or trying to truly impress with the crust.

Food processor makes quick work of pie dough, as does pastry dough cutters, but nothing beats the hand mixed. Learned that one the hard way in pastry school when my grade showed up compared to my classmates!
