Hey guys, I've been super busy with a bunch of reviews that came in. The fires and my recent trip to AZ set me back on getting on here. I just finished this review of an Air Arms TDR "Take Down Rifle" in .22 caliber that I received from Pyramydair to review. This rifle has been around for awhile...
The best area I have hunted and seen a variety of activity is Pine Springs area near Lockwood Valley. Look on Google Earth and pick spots close to the "greenest" areas. Look for "ponds" in the mountains. Most is accessible but does require a good hike.
Hey guys,
I recently got back from a few full days in the field filming for several upcoming videos. We traveled to a very remote property that has a huge population of the California Ground Squirrels. This area is about as extreme as you can find for hunting these destructive varmints, they...
Hey guys, several weeks ago I received a Daystate Huntsman Regal HR in .22 caliber courtesy of Airguns Of Arizona. The Huntsman model has been around for years, but has recently been modernized by the addition of a HUMA regulator. The Regal combines all the elements of a classic, English...
Hey guys,
Just wanted to share a few pics of a recent trip I took with Marley. We camped for several days in a more remote area to field review a high end pcp Airgun and document it through video. The weather was very monsoonal (Hot&Humid) so it was giving a bit of problems for some of my camera...
Hey guys, had a beautiful few days in the mountains with a New model PCP rifle. This is a small 34" Brocock Bantam that gets over 120+ shots in .22 caliber. Marley and I spent a few days in a remote camping spot to film this hunt, was very pleased with our success considering the monsoonal like...
Hey guys, very excited to show a video preview of something I've been working on for awhile now. This year I have decided to go full time into making video field reviews as well as a few others. The "Into The Field" series of films will focus on hunting in extreme terrain, cooking, survival...
Hey guys, I made it out for a few days before the Cottontail opener and saw a TON of off limit bunnies. I had the new Daystate Wolverine R High Powered .25 that I had to field review. Marley and I spent three days filming and hiked a total of 14 miles in that time, saw a few deer, ton of...
Yeah it's going to be a great season indeed. Had two rattler encounters this week, note that one of them was in a bush waist height. First time I've ever seen one sitting on top of sagebrush like that. Be careful and good luck everyone
Yeah no worries sorry took this long to respond. I like the Hawke Vantage 3-12x44 SF with 1/2 mil. It's a bit of a step up from the standard Vantage and I think you can get them for about $200
The Marauder is a great rifle and to be honest have never heard of any type of failure with them. I actually own one of the first Gen1's and it still shoots amazing. Those .25's are great, they have the Green Mountain barrels I believe. The heaviest part of those guns is the "steel" tube..very...
