My cousin talked me into putting in for A26 (Bass Hill Archery) with him with my 8 points. We drew it and we will be heading out this Wed for a 9-10 hour drive. Supposed to be a good rut hunt but we will see.

Its D-19 and I hunted it Tues. Didnt see any deer in that area but hunted close to there closer to the lake and saw only 4 does. Supposed to be some good bucks in that area I heard.

Yep we will have my trailer up there Thursday morning sometime and we will be float tubing Jenks lake. I dont know about any good streams in the area.

Yep I go every year. I will be heading up Thursday to fish prior to shoot. Its a fun shoot and lots of raffle give aways.

I filled out the appication and sent some pics. They excepted me and they send me a shirt every year that they expect me to wear to the shoots. I also post on forums and social media to get the name out for them.

I see your point. We will see how the hunt goes and what were seeing. I have never been a trophy hunter and its been years since I shot a deer. The last few years has been focusing on my two boys getting their tags filled. This hunt will be for myself so should be fun. Thanks for the info.

Thanks. I dont know what I got myself into but I burned 8 points to do it! Guy im going with knows a bit more. I think I will still shoot the first legal buck I see. We will see.

Stupid thng is a premium tag this year! Most everyone I know put it as 2nd choice. Dont waist points on it...

Been one time several years ago. Dont remember my experience there then. I think Wally still owns it and I have never heard good things about the shop but thats only what I have heard.

Yep you definatly dont loose points if you happen to draw your 2nd choice. Yes I shoot the Wac'ems. They fly great and yes they are harder to find but you should start seeing more of them out there. The company is doing well. I put in for A-26 on my first choice and A-31 as 2nd choice and them...

No you dont loose points for drawing 2nd choice on 1st tag.
