I appreciate you looking out... Really do!
Amir hit it on the nail, it has a Juggernaut pin. I't looks like a normal AR but the mag will not come out unless the upper and lower gets separated. The pin allows the upper to separate but not flop over pivoting on the front pin. Im not sure if it...
Thanks...I gotta work on my shooting but its improving...hitting a moving target or one that just paused when you're shaking from the adrenaline rush is difficult!
I recently built a riffle to go shoot coyotes, I have a shotgun but wanted something more powerful than a 22LR and tamer than a 30-06.
My son has been going out with me and we had a couple of close calls but no kill...this day I was out by myself.
As I was hiking in, I see a couple of dogs...
I have not hunted chukars yet. Would be very interested in doing it though...I can hike the terrain and distance no problem and live in Encino.
Unfortunately I can not commit this weekend but feel free to hit me up in the future.
I went out on thursday...got to the spot I was planning on hunting and it was covered in snow...near waist high so I went down the mountain just below the snow line and hike for a little while. Did not see any decent signs of deer but saw a couple mountain quail.
I too was wondering about them...I saw a lot of birds a couple of weeks ago when I was scouting for bears... They would fly away and kind of circle back to the same trees a few minutes later.
Seems like a lot of driving to go get 2 birds...I may have to combine the hunt with something...
I spent about 9hrs yesterday driving around the mountain, hiking and biking different locations scouting for bear and came across these little guys...my first time seeing them!
