    From the field

Tried to make a move on the only group that gave an opportunity but couldn't make it happen. After all was said and done saw 31 deer, 2 different sparing sessions between 4 very respectable bucks, and on the way back to the car had a large doe 10 yds from the car. Most deer I've seen in 1...

    New Vortex Binos

Jerry, its the only way to go as far as I'm concerned, and works out very well for me the way I have it set up on the badlands bono case.

    New Vortex Binos

Adding this tripod W/bino adapter was a big game changer!!! Makes spotting deer over 500 yds much much easier. Only weighs 2lbs and folds down to 14"

    New Vortex Binos

This is as close to a built in rangefinder as I can justify right now. I had a tough time stomaching the money for the glass, but am trying to upgrade my gear a piece each year, next year is going to be a long range style rifle(not sure what caliber). Hope Idaho was good to ya Darryl

    New Vortex Binos

Low light visibility is awesome through these, they are just as good as all the reviews I've read. Next up is a tripod. Bottom pick was at 200 yds, hard to tell but figured wth.

    New Vortex Binos

So I've used these a few times now and so far they are amazing compared to old binos. Also picked up a badlands front pack to protect them.

    muzzle loader with scope

I usually draw an M6 tag for SD county and you are not allowed to use a scope on your gun during it. As far as the general season buck tag goes, D16, I believe it is fine.

    New Vortex Binos

Just recieved my new Vortex RazorHD 10x50's. Just using them to check out the hills around the house in good and low light, this was a great investment, coming from my $150 Burris 10x32's. Not gonna get them out hunting for a couple more weeks, but will review them then with some pics.

2015 make-a-wish foundation SD Tuna Challenge

What an awesome event!!!! Started our day leaving the dock around 4:30am. Seas were flat calm, no wind, clear as could be with a full moon. Got to our spot around 6:30, few boats around us with nothing going on till about 9, then it seemed to be wide open, for everyone but us. Took us about an...
