Looking for advice for an unexpected hunting dog

He may or may not be a hard mouth, I can’t tell from the information. I’ve been fortunate none of my labs have been hard mouth. Here’s what I suggest get some training books and videos. Study them and then formulate a training plan. It appears that you are do8ng a little bit of this and a...

Looking for advice for an unexpected hunting dog

Thanks for clarifying, things appear better than what it appeared in your original post. If you are going to train you need to educate yourself on how to train, you need to train the trainer. You can do this with books and videos. I know you said you read a couple so use what you learned. Two...

Looking for advice for an unexpected hunting dog

Your golden is beautiful. There is no sweeter dog on earth than the golden. Fabulous family dog. If I wasn’t a lab guy I’d have goldens. To adequately answer your questions re training it would take a book length response. For what you want a hunting dog for and for the few times you’d hunt...

I think the perfect democrat choice and obviously most qualified would be a black, illegal, male/female female/male , transgender, trisexual, trans-species, communist, America hater.

I too was wondering what body of water that is. Looks just like the Delta in N Cal where I sometimes hunt.

    Curfew

Here in sacramento county the sheriff Scott Jones (a conservative) has already said his officers are not enforcing any of this crap. I think almost no departments will try to enforce this lunacy. Yep F newscum.

    Coming along nicely

See the pic that looks like there is rice in the breast. That’s called a ricer. It’s not rice but instead it’s a parasitic disease that looks like rice in the breast. If cooked it’s not harmful to eat but for me it’s a little gross and I dont eat them.

    431 YDS..

Read it thoroughly.. you know nothing about me. I’ve hunted longer and probably taken more game than you and your son combined. Just expressing an opinion. No reason for you to get upset. But I will say the results appear to support what I said. Oh well at least the coyotes and scavengers will...

    431 YDS..

Not trying to give you a bad time, just my opinion, but 431 yards, a quarter of a mile is a shot that shouldn’t be taken by any but an experienced hunter and well practiced expert marksman. Based on the outcome looks like the shot should not have been taken. I wasn’t there and it’s obviously...

    Tree stand etiquette.

I too just don’t feel comfortable using someone else’s stand. I’ve also come across several floating duck blinds in the bay and delta. Again using them is just beyond my comfort level.
