AZ couse whitetail deer hunt. Big buck down!

Love them! I think I might have to pick up the 15x if I get the same tag next year. I needed just a bit more power to spot these guys out of the ocotillos. I believe so, or it might have been 36b. I didn't know much going into the hunt I just went. Lol.

It's 4:00am on Thursday morning when my buddy Jesse pulled up the driveway. I had all my gear stacked in the bed of my truck ready to loaded into the now dub "couse mobile ". Ten minutes of loading the gear and good byes to the family and off we went. It was a long drive that was gorgeous, I...

    Scouting - tracks and beds

I'd go back before season and glass it all day till well after dark. I was watching deer way up on a ridge and after a few days the were in the bottom. Figure out the patterns. Don't walk to much in there area cause they split but they won't go far.

We will start with opening day. A buddy of mine got a tag and came out for his first year of deer hunting, but when he got to my house all he had was a knife and a jug of water. Lol. I asked him where is your pack and rifle? I guess he couldn't get a hold of his uncle to get it out of the safe...

Anyone ever hunt Coal Canyon Eco Preserve off the 91?

If you have that key you might want to call the forest office. Cause they got rid of those for the public. If your not a contractor, forest , or fish and game you can't drive it. Even with a key. At least that's my understanding from the forest ranger. I have one also but I don't go up there at all.

    D15 tagged out

Well we hiked in at 4am and got lost on the trail due to the fog. It was horrible cause they have the gate closed and the begging of the hike is exactly one mile to the deer trail I take down to my glassine spot. After about 30 to 45 minutes of trying to find the trail we're back on track and...
